Quoting and comparison
Compare freight quotes across carriers inside your business login.
Senditt is a managed freight platform (4PL), not a marketplace, courier or carrier. Quoting runs inside your own login, which Senditt sets up after a freight review, so there is no public price on this page and nothing here that works one out for you.

What it takes to compare two freight quotes like for like
Two numbers for the same pallet are only comparable when the thing being priced is the same on both sides: the same service level, the same dimensions and weight, the same pickup and delivery conditions, and the same treatment of the surcharges each carrier adds. Change one of those and the lower quote can end up the higher invoice.
Senditt is a managed freight platform (4PL) for high-volume Australian business shippers: book on Senditt's negotiated rates across 35+ carriers, and track and reconcile every consignment from one dashboard.
Comparing happens inside the account, not on this website. You quote a consignment, you get the carrier routes available for it on Senditt's negotiated rates, and you pick one on service as well as on charge. Senditt holds the carrier accounts, the invoicing and the support behind every one of those options, so you compare services and book in one place instead of holding a relationship with each carrier. Your freight moves with whichever carrier you choose, and the carriers page has the network.
Why freight prices moved three different ways in one quarter
Freight is not one market with one price, and the measurement says so. In its Producer Price Indexes, Australia, June quarter 2026 the Australian Bureau of Statistics put road freight transport output prices up 15.5% for the quarter, which it attributes to strong increases in fuel surcharges and records as the largest quarterly rise since the series commenced in 1997, and up a record 17.6% over the year (released 31 July 2026, re-opened 3 October 2026).
Two other freight classes in that same release moved far less over the same three months: postal and courier pick-up and delivery services rose 4.4% for the quarter and 10.8% over the year, and rail freight transport rose 3.8% and 7.4%. One publication, three freight classes, three different movements. A quote that looks dear against last year may be in the class that moved.

Carrier options for one consignment, on Senditt's negotiated rates
A quote on the platform returns the route list for that consignment. Each route is a carrier and a service you can book, and the rate behind it is one Senditt has already negotiated, on a carrier account Senditt holds. Nobody opens an account with a new carrier to find out what it charges.
Charge is one axis. Service is the other, and it is the one that costs money later. Transit times shown on the platform are estimates the carriers provide and are not guaranteed, so a weekly lane is worth judging on what arrived. There is a method for that in measuring carrier performance with DIFOT.
Once a route is chosen, booking, tracking and manifests all happen in the same login, with no second system to enter the consignment into. Each step has its own page, covering booking, tracking and manifests and labels.
What goes into a pallet or parcel freight quote
A charge on the platform is worked out from what you enter, so the inputs are worth getting right the first time. Under clause 7 of the carriage terms, where a carrier records different dimensions or weight from those entered, the charge is adjusted and re-invoiced, so a pallet that measures taller than it was booked can cost more than its quote. Item count, service and addresses are the other fields a carrier can record differently, and the consignment note is where those details travel with the freight.
Pickup and delivery conditions change the job rather than the freight. A loading dock at both ends is a different task from a delivery to a residential address or into a remote or restricted area, and the published terms list a carrier surcharge for the residential and the remote or restricted-area cases, as they do for oversize items, manual handling, re-measurement and dangerous goods.
Why a final freight charge can differ from the quote
The carrier measures the freight as well. Where it records different dimensions, weight, item count, service or address from the ones entered, the charges are adjusted and re-invoiced, with any of those carrier surcharges that apply. All charges exclude GST unless stated otherwise. That mechanism is set out in the published carriage terms, not invented per account.
So a quote prices a described consignment, not the freight that turns up. Under the same terms you warrant that what you supply is complete and accurate and you carry the cost of an inaccuracy, which is why comparing quotes on measurements nobody checked is comparing two guesses.
Why Senditt publishes no freight prices on this website
Senditt publishes no pricing, so there is no price on this page, no rate table and nothing here that works out a charge for you. Rates are quoted to an account. What you get is a figure for your freight, not a list price anyone can read off a website.
Who comparing on a managed freight platform suits
Senditt serves Australian businesses shipping roughly 500 or more consignments a month across eCommerce, wholesale and distribution, moving both pallet and parcel freight. At that volume the question stops being what one consignment costs and becomes how to buy freight repeatedly, which is what quoting across carriers on one account is for. There are pages for each industry Senditt works with, and a guide to running pallet and parcel freight together.
The field you would otherwise be re-tendering across keeps moving: the ABS counted actively trading transport, postal and warehousing businesses rising 4.9% to 261,109 in 2025-26 (released 18 August 2026, re-opened 3 October 2026). That class is far wider than freight carriage, so it is no count of carriers, but the direction is the point.
None of this is built for one-off sends or personal shipments. 21eCommerce, ERP and WMS platforms can connect to an account, each scoped and built by the Senditt integrations team over two to four weeks, depending on the platform, with setup plus monthly fees. Quoting waits for none of that. The integrations page has the list.
Getting quotes on a Senditt account
An account starts with a freight review. It runs 30 minutes, costs nothing, and leaves you with a clearer view of where your freight stands. The request form asks for your contact and company details, what you send and what you spend on freight, so the conversation starts from your actual profile. Because the carrier rates are already loaded, you can quote and book on the first day, and single quoting sits in the same login as the Bulk Quote Report above. What to bring to a review is on the freight quotes page.
Frequently asked questions
What does a freight quote mean?
It is the charge for moving a stated consignment by a stated service. On Senditt's managed freight platform the charge is as quoted at the time of booking, worked out from the details you enter, and adjusted if a carrier records different details. It comes back as a list of carrier routes rather than one number.
How do I get a freight quote for my business?
Book a freight review. It runs 30 minutes and costs nothing, and Senditt sets up your account afterwards. Carrier rates are loaded before the account opens, so you can quote, book and send on the first day.
Can I compare freight quotes on this website without an account?
No. Senditt publishes no pricing. Quoting follows a freight review and runs inside the account on Senditt's managed freight platform.
Can I quote more than one consignment at a time?
Yes. The Bulk Quote Report takes a file: download the template, fill it in, upload it and generate the report. It sits in the same login as single quoting.
What details do I need before asking for a freight quote?
Dimensions, weight, item count, the service you want, and the pickup and delivery addresses. Under the carriage terms you warrant that what you enter is accurate, so a quote is only as good as the measurements behind it.
Why can the final freight charge differ from the quote?
Because the carrier measures the freight too. Where it records different dimensions, weight, item count, service or address from the ones entered, the charge is adjusted and re-invoiced, with any carrier surcharges that apply. Charges exclude GST unless stated otherwise.
Does Senditt quote one-off or personal shipments?
No. An account is sized for businesses moving roughly 500 or more consignments a month, and quoting sits behind one. For a single item, an account is not the right tool.
