eCommerce

eCommerce shipping software, with the freight managed for you.

Parcels, bulky orders and pallets from one login, on Senditt's negotiated rates across 35+ carriers, with live carrier rates at checkout on four carts.

An online store that sends a few orders a day can live with one courier account and a label printer. A store sending hundreds of orders a week cannot. Bulky items fall outside the parcel network, regional postcodes cost more than the flat rate allowed for, and the despatch team ends up with a login for every carrier it uses. Senditt is built for that second store.

Senditt is a managed freight platform (4PL) for high-volume Australian business shippers: book on Senditt's negotiated rates across 35+ carriers, and track and reconcile every consignment from one dashboard. For an online store, that makes Senditt eCommerce shipping software with the carrier accounts, billing and support handled for you, so your team books and tracks without running a relationship with each carrier.

What online retail asks of freight in 2026

Australians kept moving their spending online through 2025. Online spend rose 14% on the year before, and 82% of Australian households shopped online, a record 9.8 million households, according to the Australia Post eCommerce Report 2026 (read 2 October 2026). For a growing store, that is more orders to ship, more often, to more postcodes.

Shoppers also expect a choice at checkout. The same report found that 69% of shoppers want a range of delivery options when they pay, and 26% expect same or next-day delivery when an order is urgent. A store that offers one courier and one flat rate gives those buyers little to choose from, and the margin on every bulky or remote order carries the difference.

Three freight problems follow from those numbers.

  • The flat rate leaks margin. A single shipping price is easy to publish and wrong for most orders. It overcharges the small parcel going across town and undercharges the heavy carton going to a regional town.
  • Bulky orders break the parcel workflow. Furniture, fitness gear and flat-pack goods need a freight service, so the store runs a second process for the orders that do not fit the first.
  • Every extra carrier adds a portal. Each carrier brings its own login, its own invoice and its own way of reporting status, and the despatch team keeps all of them open.

How Senditt runs eCommerce shipping

Senditt replaces the stack of carrier accounts with one managed relationship. Every consignment is booked in the same platform, on rates Senditt has negotiated with 35+ carriers, and the accounts, invoices and carrier support sit with Senditt. Your team never opens or administers a carrier account of its own.

Parcels, cartons and pallets in one place

Senditt handles parcel and pallet freight side by side, so a satchel and a pallet of stock go through the same booking form. Each consignment is booked on a service that suits its size and destination, and both appear in the same list afterwards. The carrier network spans parcel couriers and road freight carriers, which is what an online store with a mixed catalogue needs.

Live carrier rates at checkout

On Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento 2 and BigCommerce, Senditt can show live carrier pricing at checkout. The shipping figure a customer sees is calculated from real services for that order, so carrier calculated shipping replaces the guess behind a flat rate. That matters most on the orders a flat rate prices badly, the heavy ones and the ones going to remote postcodes.

Connected to the systems you sell through

Senditt connects to six eCommerce platforms: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento 2, BigCommerce, Maropost Commerce Cloud and Retail Express. The full integrations list also covers ERP and warehouse systems for stores that run them. Nobody installs a plugin: Senditt's integrations team scopes each store connection and sets it up, and it is charged as a setup fee plus an ongoing support fee.

One list for every consignment

Once an order is booked, it shows in one consignment list beside every other order, with the carrier service, despatch date, ETA and current status, whichever carrier is moving it. When a customer asks where their order is, the answer comes from one screen rather than a hunt through carrier websites. Manifests and labels sit in the same login, with each manifest naming its carrier and service.

Returns travel the same way

A return is booked as a consignment with the two ends swapped. The pickup is your customer's address, the delivery is your returns bay, and the booking carries a weight and size for the item as it will travel back. It gets a consignment number and sits in the same list as outbound orders, so customer service can see it coming. Putting the original order number in the booking reference lets the warehouse match the return to the sale when it arrives.

Peak season on more than one carrier

November and December squeeze a quarter's orders into a few weeks. With 35+ carriers in the same booking form, a store whose usual service is stretched can book the next order on another one, on Senditt's negotiated rates, without opening a new account in the middle of peak.

When an order goes wrong

Freight problems in eCommerce usually show up after despatch, on an invoice or in a customer's inbox. The published carriage terms set out what happens in each case.

The carrier measures it differently

Charges are quoted at booking from the details your team enters. If the carrier's own measurement shows a different size or weight, item count, service or delivery address, the charge is corrected and re-invoiced, along with any carrier surcharge for re-measurement, residential or remote delivery, oversize items or manual handling. Accurate weights and dimensions in your store data keep the invoice close to the quote.

A parcel is lost or damaged

Ask, and Senditt takes the claim to the carrier for you, free of any extra charge, under that carrier's conditions; whatever the carrier pays out comes back to you. Carriers cap their liability and enforce tight deadlines, so report damage or a missing item in writing within seven days of delivery, and a parcel that never arrived within thirty days of despatch.

No one is home

A carrier can deliver under an Authority to Leave set by you or your customer, and goods left that way are at your risk from the moment they are left. Where delivery cannot be completed, redelivery, storage or return-to-sender charges may apply. Setting a clear Authority to Leave policy for your store is a decision worth making before peak season.

Getting started

There is no self-serve signup. Everything starts with a freight review, a free half-hour on what your store sends, where it goes and how orders are booked now. From there:

  1. Senditt opens your account with every carrier rate in place, and your team can book its first orders that day.
  2. The integrations team scopes and connects your store, a two-to-four-week job depending on the cart.
  3. Your team keeps booking orders in the form during the integration build, so nothing waits on the connection.

Frequently asked questions

What is eCommerce shipping software?

It is the system an online store uses to price, book and track deliveries across carriers. Senditt provides that as a managed freight platform (4PL), with your orders booked on Senditt's negotiated rates across 35+ carriers and the carrier relationships run by Senditt.

Can my store show live freight rates at checkout?

Yes, on Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento 2 and BigCommerce. Live carrier pricing is shown at checkout, so the shipping charge reflects the services available for that order.

Can I send parcels and pallets from the same place?

Yes. Satchels, cartons and pallets all go through one booking form and show up together in the consignment list.

Do I need to open my own carrier accounts?

No. Orders travel on Senditt's own carrier accounts and negotiated rates, and Senditt deals with the carriers on your behalf.

How long does it take to go live?

Your team can book its first orders on the day the account opens. Connecting the store takes the integrations team two to four weeks, depending on the cart.

Is Senditt a courier?

No. Senditt runs your freight as a managed freight platform (4PL); the parcels themselves travel with whichever of the 35+ carriers your team books.
