Team Global Express guide

Team Global Express across Australia

Team Global Express took its current name in 2021, when it was bought from Toll Group, and it dates its history to 1888, when Albert F Toll set up a transport business in Newcastle. It is now owned by Allegro Funds. The company has more than 8,500 staff, works with more than 5,000 delivery businesses in Australia and overseas, and runs from 650+ depots and service hubs in Australia and New Zealand, handling over 100 million items a year on trucks, trains, aircraft and ships.

Its work spans parcels and pallets through to full container and full trailer loads, imports and exports, medical and dangerous goods, and temperature-controlled distribution. As at April 2026, it says it delivers to the door in about 15,200 of the country's 16,000 suburbs.

Courier, Priority and road services

  • Courier: same-day work in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra, from documents and parcels to standard pallets, on vans, utes, tailgate rigids, semis and B-doubles.
  • Priority: urgent freight on its dedicated air and road networks to metro and regional centres, where its own customers can add after-hours, weekend and public holiday delivery, with room for medical freight, category B dangerous goods, mining loads and animals.
  • Road Express: store replenishment, transfers between distribution centres and returns freight to metro, interstate, regional and remote addresses, on linehaul into every major capital, with a switch to rail available.
  • Express Pallets: one pallet up to a full trailer, skid crates and part loads, consolidated over road and rail. It does not cover time-slot, tailgate, hand-unload or over-dimensional jobs.
  • Specialised Solutions: heavy haulage and over-dimensional freight, suited to items above 12 tonnes, wider than 2.4 metres and longer than 6 metres.

Air, rail and sea freight

By air it reaches cities and regions in Australia, New Zealand and overseas, in three tiers: Same Day Interstate & Regional, Priority and Airport to Airport. Its capacity guide takes satchels, loose cargo up to 100 kg and pallets up to 1000 kg, and it holds IATA accreditation for all nine dangerous goods classes. Rail runs with Aurizon and Pacific National, with return trips between Adelaide and Darwin and between Melbourne and Perth, carrying containers, bulk tanks and oversize loads. Sea freight to Tasmania goes on two ships working between Melbourne and Burnie with Strait Link.

Team Global Express tracking

Team Global Express scans Road Express freight at least five times, with proof of delivery and a delivery photo, and tracks items individually, pallets included. On its own MyTeamGE page a shipper can follow up to 30 shipments at once by number, reference, purchase order or missed delivery card, and sign up for SMS or email updates. Receivers search by the shipping, consignment or item number.

A Team Global Express consignment booked through Senditt is followed in Senditt's dashboard next to freight on every other carrier, and its label comes out of the same login.

Getting a Team Global Express quote

Its own customers get rates, create shipments and book pickups in MyTeamGE, and the site also offers Express Book and Pay and quotes for account and non-account holders. In Senditt, Team Global Express can appear in the same quote as other carriers, so the price can be weighed before anything is booked.
