Who MRL Global is
MRL Global started in 2004 in the garage of its founder, Reza Laghaei, moved into a small office in the Sydney CBD in 2007 and in 2008 commenced its first contract, which was with Australia Post and Australian Air Express. It added 3PL warehousing in Sydney in 2010, international air and sea forwarding from 2012, and warehousing and transport in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth between 2017 and 2019.
Since 2020 the MRL Global brand has covered two divisions, MRL Logistics and Sampson Express. Sampson Express is the former Sampson Transport, renamed in 2017. Its head office is at Milperra in Sydney.
Full loads and pallet freight between capitals
Its domestic transport is built around two services. Full Load gives a shipper a whole semi-trailer, B-double, straight trailer or mezzanine trailer, running direct between Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth to NHVR standards; MRL added 12 trailers to its linehaul fleet in 2024. Pallet Freight covers local and interstate pallets. MRL's own account customers can arrange CHEP and Loscam pallet exchange, done in bulk weekly, though plain pallets and skids are not exchanged, and MRL offers timeslot delivery on its own bookings.
MRL delivers to most homes and businesses in Australia. Its FAQ leaves PO box deliveries to Australia Post and says MRL does not deal with dangerous goods or arrange refrigerated shipping. It also runs a specialised service for IT and medical equipment and supplies.
MRL Global in Sydney, Melbourne and beyond
In Sydney, MRL has its Milperra head office and a transport division and bulk storage site at Eastern Creek. In Melbourne, its office and warehouse moved from Brooklyn to 128 Swann Drive, Derrimut, and MRL was fully operational there from 4 August 2025. Warehouses at Archerfield in Brisbane, Green Fields in Adelaide and Welshpool in Perth round out the list, and MRL describes a regional network behind its capital city sites. Its warehouses handle container unloading, pick and pack, kitting, labelling and assembly.
Air and sea freight
MRL's About page lists domestic and international air freight. Abroad, standard shipments travel in the belly space of commercial aircraft while specialised cargo goes on freighters, door to door or airport to airport. By sea it ships FCL and LCL, with licensed customs brokers handling clearance, and for cartage from Australian ports MRL uses side loaders or standard trailers. For international shipping generally, MRL lists every country except Nigeria, North Korea, Syria and Iraq.
MRL Global tracking
MRL's own tracking page asks for a connote number. Shippers with an MRL account see more detail, including proof of delivery, once they log in to its portal, and in 2024 MRL upgraded its driver sign on glass application. On its own site MRL also offers a freight calculator, prepaid booking, and APIs for creating consignments, tracking them and pulling POD records.
Through Senditt, MRL Global may appear in a quote alongside other carriers; book it there and its consignments are labelled and tracked in your Senditt login.
